METALSMITHING & OTHER OBJECTS
I like making things, like the hand-made object-ness of things. I am learning to make more things, particularly involving metal. I love the meditative qualities involved in working small, and with fine details. I am still learning. Nonetheless, here are some initial examples of where I've been, and perhaps also an indication of where I might be going. Not too surprisingly, many of my objects contain images that recur in my photographs (like ladders and house forms) and text… and many are boxes or modified book-like forms. Similar, yet different, through an expansion of materials.
