IN WINTER
In winter, if you look closely, aspects of the ordinary world that are usually obscured and overlooked become visible. In the cold silence of late afternoon each day in January 2015, I walked quietly through the woods collecting images of the natural world reduced to its essence -- minimal lines against an empty sky. The images in this series are small -- 4x5" toned gelatin silver prints, collected in a clamshell box.
