I currently live and work in Southern California.

Other versions and phases of my life, prior to the present one, have consisted of (among other things) teaching English in Russia, teaching photography and writing in Singapore, teaching photography in Michigan, living and working in Dublin, Ireland, writing and photographing and studying in Ohio, backpacking extensively in Europe and Asia, hanging out with Buddhist monks in Burma, drinking yak butter tea in Tibet, jamming the film advance mechanism of my camera while trying to photograph during a sandstorm in the Sahara Desert, living in multiple cold and corn-filled midwestern states, making and exhibiting art in the US and internationally, and various other adventures which I'll get around writing book about one of these days.

In the meantime, I make photographs and teach photography at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, California.
